Physiotherapist - Gold Coast & Northern NSW
Mia is a Gold Coast local and graduated from Bond University on the Gold Coast. She completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science in 2016 before going on to complete her Doctorate of Physiotherapy in 2019. During her study, Mia was exposed to a wide variety of clinical specialties including cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, neurological rehabilitation, and geriatrics. Mia has a special interest in musculoskeletal and vestibular physiotherapy and is excited to gain further experience and knowledge in the area.
Mia enjoys working with a wide range of clinical populations with a focus on enhancing function and improving clients overall quality of life. She is highly motivated and client-centred who values a combination of exercise therapy and manual therapy to provide a holistic treatment approach to all clients.
During her spare time, Mia plays soccer to keep active and enjoys the outdoors. She has experience in sport physiotherapy and maintains a membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) in order to keep up to date with the most recent research. Mia is continuously researching evidence-based practices in order to most effectively treat her clients.
