Charlie graduated from Cardiff University in the UK in 2012 with a B.Sc. (Hons) Physiotherapy. She has spent the last 6 years working in hospital and private practice settings. The main proportion of her experience is in musculoskeletal but has a broad knowledge of all areas.
She has attended postgraduate courses in a variety of specialities including, Dry Needling, Clinical Pilates, Level 1 Sports, Level 1 Spinal and The Lyn Watson Shoulder Course.
She enjoys using a patient centred approach with a high emphasis on exercise-based rehabilitation. Charlie enjoys using hydrotherapy as a treatment modality along with massage and hands on treatment when needed.
Charlie has worked with a variety of patients including NDIS, Workcover, Home Care Package, DVA, Insurance and Private. Charlie is happy to work with children through to the elderly and will ensure client goals & expectations are met & exceeded.
In her spare time Charlie leads a very active life, playing touch footie, attending F45 and taking her rescue dog for walks at the beach. Her passion for sport crosses over into physio with a keen interest in sporting injuries and has worked alongside sport teams and provided physiotherapy cover for game days.
Charlie has recently taken up the role of Team Leader for the Brisbane team and is passing her experience and knowledge onto the younger physiotherapists. She mainly services Logan and South Brisbane.
